Bespoke
Bespoke commissions are unique works of art, hand-formed by Emily and set with a curated palette of our finest, traceable gemstones.
The Emily Nixon bespoke process is designed to create a piece with an eternal connection to you and to the earth and sea, physically manifested in fine metal and stone. Each commission is unique and unrepeated, an heirloom for future generations.
We begin your bespoke process with a conversation with Emily, either in her West Cornwall studio, in London, or online if convenient, to discuss the inspiration, connections, and meaning behind the piece. This is followed by a design and form phase, with hand-drawn sketches and wax prototypes.
We carefully select and source the precious stones for your piece from our small group of well-respected ethical suppliers, verifying each stone for quality and character before selecting a series of colour palettes for you to choose from. Once selected, the piece is cast in recycled precious metal and the stones are set by our Head Goldsmith in our West Cornwall studio.
